ServSafe® Manager Certification 

What you will learn:

 

The ServSafe® Manager training and certification program will teach you to effectively do the following: 

 

Good Personal Hygiene
Time and Temperature Control
Preventing Cross-Contamination
Cleaning and Sanitizing
Safe Food Preparation
Receiving and Storing Food
Methods of Thawing, Cooking, Cooling and Reheating Food
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
Food Safety Regulations

Who will benefit:

Most states require all food facilities that prepare, handle, or serve unpackaged foods are required to have at least one Certified Food Manager (CFM) or Person in Charge, either an owner or an employee, who has successfully passed an approved and accredited food safety certification. but anyone who would like to demonstrate that they have sufficient food safety knowledge to protect the public from foodborne illness including chefs, servers, managers, hosts, caterers, banquet staff etc. will benefit

How you will learn:

 

In an effort to limit activities that bring many people into direct contact, all certification courses  have moved to a self-study (online) format with proctored (in-person) exam.
